โดยโครงการพัฒนาและการสาธิตเทคโนโลยีหลักสำหรับการป้องกันและควบคุมความปลอดภัยในอุตสาหกรรมการผลิตในภูมิภาคแม่โขง-ล้านช้าง (Development and Demonstration of Key Technologies for Industrial Production Safety Prevention and Control in Lancang-Mekong Region) ภายใต้การสนับสนุนจากกองทุนความร่วมมือแม่โขง-ล้านช้าง (Lancang-Mekong Cooperation) (http://www.lmcchina.org) โดยวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อ พัฒนาแพลตฟอร์มการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพและการควบคุมความปลอดภัยในอุตสาหกรรมใช้เทคโนโลยีปัญญาประดิษฐ์ รายการถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยีด้านปัญญาประดิษฐ์สำหรับอุตสาหกรรม สู่สถาบันอุดมศึกษาในอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มแม่น้ำโขง โดยโครงการนี้ดำเนินงานโดยวิทยาลัยศิลปะ สื่อ และเทคโนโลยี มหาลัยเชียงใหม่ ร่วมกับ สำนักเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ภายใต้การสนับสนุนของ กระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัย และนวัตกรรม (อว.) และ บริษัท แคส ค๊อกไนเซอร์ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด
